Ipomoea ‘Purple Majesty’ 25/Pk

Purple Majesty sweet potato is a striking variety with deep purple skin and richly pigmented purple flesh that keeps its vibrant color even after cooking. It offers a mildly sweet, slightly earthy flavor with a moderately dry texture, making it excellent for roasting, mashing, fries, and colorful baked dishes. Developed by NC State, it is also prized for strong yields, uniform roots, and naturally high anthocyanin antioxidant content. 

• Season of Interest: Planted after last frost (late May–June in Zone 6b); harvest in late summer to fall, typically 90–100 days after planting (August–October). 
• Light Requirements: Full Sun (6–6+ hours)
• Soil Requirements: Well-drained, loose, sandy loam is ideal; avoid heavy clay (causes misshapen roots); pH 5.8–6.2 (slightly acidic); low to moderate fertility — avoid excess nitrogen to encourage root development over foliage
