Georgia Jet sweet potato is a fast-maturing, high-yielding variety known for producing large, smooth roots with deep red skin and bright orange, moist flesh. It has a rich, sweet flavor and bakes up soft and tender, making it ideal for classic baked sweet potatoes, casseroles, and roasting. Especially valued in northern climates, it performs well in shorter growing seasons and can produce harvestable roots in as little as 90 days. 

• Season of Interest: Planted after last frost (late May–June in Zone 6b); harvest in late summer to fall, typically 90–100 days after planting (August–October). 
• Light Requirements: Full Sun (6–6+ hours)
• Soil Requirements: Well-drained, loose, sandy loam is ideal; avoid heavy clay (causes misshapen roots); pH 5.8–6.2 (slightly acidic); low to moderate fertility — avoid excess nitrogen to encourage root development over foliage
