Crocus 'Joan of Arc', or Jeanne d'Arc, is a variety of the large-flowering Crocus vernus species, known for its pure white, chalice-shaped flowers with striking bright orange anthers, and a slight purple base. These vigorous and long-lived bulbs are planted in the fall and bloom in early spring, adding a luminous splash of white to beds, borders, and naturalized areas in full sun to partial shade.

  • Bloom Time: Early to mid-spring
  • Light Requirements: Full Sun to Part Shade (4 to 6+ Hours)
  • Soil Requirements: Well-draining soil is key. Prefers average garden soil, sandy, or compost-rich soil types, as well as neutral to slightly alkaline pH levels.
