Magnolia 'Butterflies' is a deciduous tree known for its large, cup-shaped, bright yellow flowers that bloom in early spring before the foliage appears. It has a distinct pyramidal form, reaching 20 feet tall and 12 feet wide, with dark green leaves that turn a coppery-bronze in the fall. This low-maintenance tree is an excellent choice as a specimen or accent in landscapes, thriving in full sun to part shade and needing well-drained soil.
