Emerald Green Thujas grow best in full sun (6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day), but they can withstand partial shade (afternoon sun is best in this case). Water your new tree 1-2 times per week for the first month, then once a week. Water more frequently if it is dry and hot. Water your tree by placing a water hose at its base for 20 seconds. Emerald Green Thujas will establish after 6 months and regular rainfall will provide sufficient watering.
