Pinus Pumilio #3

Mugo Pine is a dwarf, slow-growing (only increasing by a few inches per year), mound-shaped conifer. It has bright-green foliage all year long and is a hardy evergreen plant. The emerald green color will slightly change to yellow-green in winter. Because of its slow growth, it is easy to care for and requires very little pruning. It is lower growing than the parent species and drought tolerant. Use this plant in masses, rock gardens, or as a foundation plant.

• Soil Requirements: Well-draining soil is key. Adaptable to various soil types and pH levels, but will not tolerate soggy soil.
