Schizachyrium scoparium 'Standing Ovation' is a cultivar of Little Bluestem, a native North American grass prized for its upright, rigid habit that doesn't flop, vibrant blue-green summer foliage with red tips, and striking fall colors of reds, oranges, and purples, culminating in golden-brown winter color. This low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, and heat-tolerant ornamental grass performs best in full sun and well-drained, average to poor soils, making it a popular choice for landscaping and wildlife gardens.

• Light Requirements: Full Sun to Part Sun (6 to 6+ Hours)
• Soil Requirements: Prefers average to poor, well-draining soil. Adaptable to various soil types and pH levels but will not tolerate soggy or poorly drained conditions.
