Phlox Maculata #1

Phlox maculata, or spotted phlox, is a sun-loving perennial that tolerates light shade, grows best in moist, well-drained soil, and blooms in summer with clusters of pink to purple flowers. It is relatively low-maintenance, has a medium growth rate, and its stems are typically spotted with purple. To encourage more blooms, you can deadhead spent flowers, and it is more resistant to powdery mildew than some other phlox varieties. 

• Bloom Time: Early summer to early/mid-fall
• Light Requirements: Full Sun to Part Sun (6 to 6+ Hours)
• Soil Requirements: Consistently moist soil is key. Prefers fertile, well-draining soil. Can go in wet, poorly drained areas.
