Evergreen, drooping fronds characterize the Boston variety of sword fern. At full maturity, a single plant may reach a height and width between 2 and 3 feet. Although this variety can grow in moist, shaded or partly shaded outdoor areas, Boston ferns also thrive as houseplants in humid rooms. 

Light Requirements: Bright, indirect sunlight or Part Shade to Shade (3 - 4 Hours)

Soil Requirements: Prefers consistently moist, well-draining soil. Use a water-soluble fertilizer once monthly during the spring and summer, when growth occurs most drastically.
