Curly parsley is a variety of parsley (Petroselinum crispum) known for its bright green, tight, and frilly leaves, which make it an ideal garnish due to its decorative appearance and crisp texture. It has a fresh, herbaceous, and slightly bitter flavor, and is also used in cooking to enhance dishes like meatballs or white clam sauce. While its primary use is as a visual element, it contains high levels of chlorophyll, vitamins A, C, and E, and can be dried or frozen for longer use.
