Although it is a cool-season grass, Variegated Feather Reed Grass is drought tolerant and seems to be stable in the summer heat at our nursery. Use it as a screen, contrast it with perennials in mixed borders, or plant in masses.

• Bloom Time: Mid-summer to late fall
• Light Requirements: Full Sun to Part Sun (6 to 6+ Hours)
• Soil Requirements: Well-draining soil is key. Adaptable to most soil types and pH levels. Prefers consistently moist, rich soil, but is drought tolerant once established.
